One Tree Planted with Every Order!

CanvasJet has been a partner of onetreeplanted.org by planting a tree for every order of our eco-prints. This partnership allows us to further our commitment to the earth beyond producing effective, earth friendly products and fostering sustainable innovation.

With every order of CanvasJet you are not only investing in the earth by choosing a product that will reduce fossil fuels and the need for new materials to be harvested but also investing in the lives of people living in some of the most under served areas of the world.

About One Tree Planted:

One Tree Planted is a non-profit organisation based in Vermont, USA. As an environmental charity, they are dedicated to making it easier for individuals and businesses to give back to the environment, create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity and help reforestation efforts around the world. All by planting trees!

They started in 2014, and have more than doubled the number of trees planted year on year. Today, they now work with amazing reforestation partners in North America, South America, Asia, and Africa who help get trees in the ground to restore forests after fires and floods, create jobs, build communities, and protect habitat for biodiversity.

In 2018, One Tree Planted were able to get more trees in the ground than ever before – 1.3 million! They pool the donations for each project and send the funds to their reforestation partners. They vet the partners to ensure that they maintain a tree survival rate of 80-90%. Depending on the project, the partners choose the best tree species to plant and work with local communities to get them in the ground. Planting typically happens in the rainy season when the soil is wet and provides optimal conditions for tree survival. Once all the trees are in the ground they send out a report highlighting the impact of your trees.

Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity. They also provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people, absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere, and are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines.
